| I just wanted to take a few moments to thank you for your excellent website: “GunsOnPegs”. Our shoot has floundered over the years quite simply because it a “best kept secret”, and by the nature of the sport many county folk are not advertising or marketing gurus. Your website has enabled us to fill our vacancy within a week of advertising it. In all we had 18 serious enquiries which narrowed down to six who wanted to join our shoot. Alas, we could only offer two places. The one thing that all applicants had in common was a passion for field sports and with an organisation such as yours you can only help but promote and unite shooting in an age where the chattering classes attempt to destroy us or at best ignore the sport and the huge benefits it has for wildlife, conservation and the countryside, instead preferring an agrochemical wasteland, devoid of wildlife and dominated by vermin. | |

| Just a few years ago when we lost our two shoots to new, non-shooting landowners, information on shoots in general was either non-existent, or by word of mouth or very sparse to say the least, that is until I found GunsOnPegs!......as of yesterday, I am once more a full gun member of a syndicate shoot in Worcestershire, a shoot that has been there for a number of years, is only 30 minutes away from my home, but which I never knew existed until now! | I have to say your site is the best thing to happen to game shooting that I can remember. Your site has opened up the game shooting world where people have greater choice and can buy shooting according to their budget, capability, how many they want to shoot or geographical preference. I believe this encourages people to try game shooting at an entry level and proves that there is sport out there that is available to everyone. It also provides greater competition for shoots to perform, although we know there are a great deal of variable factors that can alter a shoots performance, this can only be of benefit to guns. | I would like to congratulate GunsOnPegs on their great website. Earlier this season, I had a trip to the UK come up on rather short notice. I went on the GOP website and inquired about two consecutive shoot days at Chargot and Molland. James emailed me shortly thereafter, saying the shoot organizer would contact me soon. The next day I received an email from Will Moreton of Bettws Hall and a few days later everything had been arranged for me: train tickets, accommodation, loaders, guns, even transportation from and to the station! The GOP website is fantastic, easy to use and the two shoot days turned out to be some of the most memorable shooting days of my life at two truly outstanding estates. I was looking to join a small pheasant shooting syndicate, hopefully not too far from home so logged on to your site and entered a speculative enquiry to one advert that you were carrying.
