Testimonials About Your Shoot - NEW Feature

We are delighted to be able to bring you a couple of long awaited updates to GunsOnPegs which should really help you sell more days.
Shoot Testimonials
Since the day that we first started GunsOnPegs, we have been asked by Member Guns to launch some sort of feedback or rating system about shoots. However, we have only recently been able to come up with a clever way of doing it without allowing for the potential to harm the image of a shoot.
How It Works:
- Guns login to the site and go to the Find A Shoot page.
- They have the option to add a testimonial about any shoot that they have been to.
- The testimonial is submitted by the gun which sends an email to both you and us with their name and email address. The testimonial is NOT live at this point.
- You receive the email and reply directly back to us ACCEPTING or REJECTING the comments. If we do not hear back from you within 48 hours then, providing the comments are not negative, the testimonial will go live.
- The testimonial will then appear against your shoot. If rejected, the testimonial will never be shown against your shoot.
The reason why we have added this feature is that it will allow guns to read more about a shoot from the eyes of someone else who has been there. We believe that this will lead to more enquiries as a result. It is very important to note that we will never go live with a testimonial that criticises your shoot in anyway.
So you are now able to contact all your friends and ask them to add a testimonial about your shoot which will help you sell any remaining days that you may have.
Your Profile Score
The second feature that we have added is a Profile Scoring System. This will display a score against each shoot showing the quality of information that the shoot has uploaded. It will be visible to all Shoot Owners when logged in.
The aim of this update is to help all Shoots improve their entry on GunsOnPegs which should lead to more enquiries. Our analysis has proven that shoots with a profile score above 50%, with 'Live Events', receive significantly more enquiries than those less than 50%.
You can Login here to see your shoot's score. Once logged in, you need to go to Find A Shoot in the Buy Pegs section of the website.
By clicking on the score against your shoot, it will show you which areas you need to improve and also explain how you can do this. You can also view other shoot's scores and see how their entry differs to yours. If you have any problems updating your entry then please do not hesitate to contact us.
We hope that you are happy with the updates to the system, we certainly feel that they will both lead to a significant increase in the number of enquiries through the site which should lead to some happier shoot owners! As they are new features, please do give us some feedback if there are any issues that could potentially be improved upon.
We will be announcing the Shoot Testimonial feature to our 12,000 Member Guns on Wednesday so we expect are large amount of activity from this point.
This also means that now is a great time to add any dates that you have available for the current season.
