  Add your Shoot to GunsOnPegs

  You can add your shoot to the website by making sure you are logged in and clicking on the Locations button. Here you will find a form you can fill out with all your shoot information.

  Your Shoot description needs to set your shoot apart from the competition. One or two sentences may not be enough to give the impression your shoot deserves. Describe the topography of your shoot, does it lend itself to high birds, is the shoot mainly made up of woodlands or cover crops and describe your best drives.
  
  Describe the hospitality that you provide, who the hosts are, what you offer Guns throughout the day, do they need to bring their own dog, transport, lunch or special cartridges. The more you can describe about the day, the more likely someone will send an enquiry, it also stops you receiving questions that could have easily been answered in your description.
  
  You are also able to add 5 photos, which are extremely effective at selling your days. If you are having trouble uploading your photos due the size, you can email them to theteam@gunsonpegs.com and we can resize and upload them for you.

• Step 2

  Adding your available days to your shoot profile

  This is a very important task which will increase the exposure of your shoot on the website. Just go to the Sell Shooting tab, Events and click New to add your available days.

  Uploading your availability will allow Members to find your shoot when they are searching for shooting during a certain month or date.
  
  The Event date form allows you to add your bag size, price per gun, available guns and you overage policy. The form also contains a text box, where you can outline various date, pricing and bag options in more detail.
  
  If you have multiple dates to upload, you only need to add all your information in one date, click save and then use the Copy button next to the date, which will copy all your previous information and you just need to change the date.
  
  Just go to the Sell Shooting tab, Events and click New to add your available days.

• Step 3

  Take note of your profile score

  Your profile score is a way of calculating the quality of your entry, although not visible to Member Guns, it does strongly correlate with the amount of enquiries you are likely to receive.

  By clicking on the score, which can be found on your Locations page, it will tell you where you have scored points and how to improve your entry.
  
  We suggest that you try to score at least 85/100 if you have days available to sell. Our statistics say that shoots with a score of 50% or more are much more likely to receive an enquiry providing that they have a live ‘event’.

• Step 4

  Contact from Member Guns

  You will receive messages by email from GunsOnPegs when a member Gun expresses interest in one of your events. You can find a copy of the enquiry in your Mail-In Tray under the My Account tab.

  More details

  The email will invite you to contact the member to discuss/conclude the sale. It will contain the Gun's contact details, their query and their shooting profile showing their skill and experience level.
  
  Please make sure you reply promptly to any enquiry, even if you have already sold out, because not responding could be the difference between making a loss and profit.
