Albion Sporting was founded in 2011 by Annie Belton and Fin Green, through a combined passion of field sports and quality craftsmanship. Developing on from a very successful saddle-making business using their excellent leather working skills.
To launch the business in to te shooting market, Albion sporting have teamed up with GunOnPegs to promote to the shooting market, and GunsOnPegs organised the launch day at Ian Coley Shooting Ground. A number of well known industry figures were present to celebrate the craft and ingeniuty that Albion Sporting have to offer.
For Annie, leather was in the blood, after nine official years of working as marketing manager in the family business, Albion Saddlemakers.
Fin was a specialist marketing consultant in the food industry and from a young age has always been involved in country sports, including game shooting and gun dog training.
The world famous Albion Saddlemakers, based in Walsall, West Midlands, the heart of the leather goods industry was established more than 25 years ago by Paul and Sherry Belton. It is now recognised as one of the leading saddle designers and manufacturers worldwide.
