Dear Member Gun,
Here are some more great opportunities for full days and individual guns looking for shooting this coming season.
Hargham & Quidenham Estates Shoot, Norfolk
Days of 250 – 350 birds are available at the stunning Hargham & Quidenham Estates Shoot in Norfolk. The Shoot has abundant stocks of birds in its 8,500 acres where King Edward VII shot regularly at the beginning of the last century. The catering and hospitality are excellent. All food is freshly prepared using local produce and served in the warm and well appointed Lunch Hut.
There is a range of nearby accommodation including, for bookings of two nights or more, an Elizabethan moated manor for exclusive hire on a catered basis. This is a superb setting that can cost less than a good hotel.
Birds are £24 + VAT each up to 274 birds and £23 + VAT per bird for days exceeding 275 birds. For 300 and over bird days, loaders can be provided at no cost to assist the Guns.

Other news
We won!
We are delighted to be able to say that last Thursday, GunsOnPegs was voted “Best Website” in the Shooting Industry Awards 2010. The category was judged on a number of factors including how useful the site is. We were up against some very tough competition but came out on top for the 2nd year in a row. We thank you all for your tremendous support and to those that voted for us.
Coincidentally, we are launching a new design in the coming weeks which should be a bit more pleasing on the eye and will allow us to take GunsOnPegs that step further.
Game Fairs
Some of you may have seen our plans for the CLA Game Fair (23rd-25th July) but if you haven't, there is a piece on our stand within the News section of the Shooting Gazette. We are essentially trying to bring the website to life through a large marquee in which 20 shoots will be exhibiting. We would therefore like to invite you along to see us, chat with the shoot owners and relax in our hospitality area.
We will also be at the Scottish Game fair at Scone Palace on 2nd-4th July, so do come along and see us as we look to increase the presence of GunsOnPegs in Scotland.
If there is anything more we can do, then please let us know as many of your comments and feedback have been taken into account with the upcoming design.
Best, James and Chris Horne.
P.S. There are 1085 days currently available on GunsOnPegs, the widest selection of shooting available anywhere! Have a look here.
