We are conveniantly located in the Midlands seven miles from Rugby town and seven miles from Coventry. We are fortunate to be served by both the M1 and M6 motorways allowing for easy travelling to our venue. Lifts can be arranged from the local train stations if this is required.
We shoot over 3000 acres of land from rolling parkland laid out by Capability Brown to ride shooting in the woods. We have two duck drives one from a purpose built Duckery and the other of a Capability Brown lake and these never fail to provide entertainment.
With a new Keeper at the helm we have seen the shoot go from an average of 100 bird days to just under 200 in one season. this year we have incorporated new areas of game cover to provide more varied drives than we have had before.
A typical day consists of coffee and a shoot briefing before heading out on the mornings shoot, typically we shoot two or three drives and stop for some refreshments and then another two drives when we stop for lunch. after lunch depending on the time of year we aim to get two more drives in and then finish with a last duck drive then to be finished of with tea before the days close.
Your host for the day is Lord Denbigh who in conjunction with Barry Walker the keeper will ensure a smooth day with lots of entertainment for your party throughout the day.
Having doubled the number of birds we released this year I have every confidence in offering 150/200 bird days.

This was my first experience of using GunsOnPegs to buy a day and one that I thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend. Newnham Paddox is a well run, friendly shoot that makes the most of it's pleasant surroundings and presents very respectable pheasant and duck over a number of differing drives across the estate. Alex is an excellent host who keeps the day moving along nicely and very inclusional, and Barry the keeper has a well drilled team that are professional and thorough in their approach. The superb lunch at the Old Bell pub in the village makes a nice break too. I would thoroughly encourage teams and individuals to look into shooting here should the opportunity present itself, you certainly won't be disappointed, and it is easily accessible.
