Welcome to Andrews Warson Shoot. Set amidst the steep valleys of Dartmoor we invite you to join us for a memorable day of quality shooting.

Our main valley is some 100 metres deep, comparable with anything the mighty shoots of Exmoor can offer. Providing stunning shooting in a truly tranquil and most beautiful setting. Hospitality is second to none with an elevenses comprising of hot sticky sausages, hot and cold drinks etc all enjoyed at the farm.

Strategically positioned cover crops provide excellent flushing areas to maximise the already impressive topography. A healthy population of locally reared pheasants provide stunning sport in this glorious setting.

The shoot is easily accessible, being just a couple of miles off the main A30. With the Castle Inn at Lydford (just a short drive from the shoot) offering comfortable en suite 'dog friendly' accomodation, we have a stunning package to share with you

Guns access to the pegs is very easy at Warson and usually entails just a short stroll from the vehicle!

The birds gliding across from South Bank will set your heart racing, you will remember every single shot! Deer Park and Oak Tree will tease you with their turbocharged pheasants streaming over the pegs. Five shot is 'de rigour' for these challenging targets!

Offering 100 bird days for teams of 4 to 8 guns we offer exceptional value for this quality of shooting.

We are fortunate to have a healthy population of woodcock that feature in the bag on most shoot days. There is also an opportunity to bag a high Duck on one drive, always a welcome variation!

We prefer to shoot through, shooting two or three drives before elevenses, usually taken back at the farm. Then another two drives before adjourning to the 'Castle Inn' for a hot two course meal at the end of the day, often featuring home reared beef from our prime 'Red Ruby' herd.

Guns may chose to enjoy a restful night at the Castle making use of their 'Dog Friendly' attitude and comfortable en suite rooms.

The dates we have listed are not cast in stone and we will accomodate alternate dates wherever possible.
