We are based north of the village of Hackness on the edge of the North York moors and the famous Dalby Forest.
On our shoot there are some fantastic valleys with some very high pheasant and partridge. We are still relatively a new shoot but have had some great days, we expect to do 5 to 6 drives each day, our bags range from 80 to 200+ birds per day we will try to cater for everyone we have changed our game covers alot this season and done alot of work in the woods . We have also taken on some more ground that if all goes to plan the birds will be higher than the other drives that we already shoot and this should get us another 3 drives to be able to shoot over.
The ratio to one is between 5 to 9 shots per brid we would like to think that if you have had around 5 hundred shots there should be 100 birds in the bag or there abouts ,as always it totally depends on how good the team is at shooting hi birds.
We will provide a full english breakfast at one of the local pubs and then at lunch time a tipple of slow gin or port/pie/cakes will be served.
If any teams are looking for back to back days there are local shoots that is willing to see if they can do the other day price to be sorted with them thanks.
There are some fantastic hotels localy for the guns that wish to stay over we would be happy to advise on this if anyone needs any additional information please contact our selfs.
